Located in the former palace of the Counts of Auxerre, the Salle d'Eckmühl has preserved its 19th-century decor: wood panelling, painted canvas ceiling and furniture. The collections on display were bequeathed to the town of Auxerre in 1877 by Louise Adélaïde de Blocqueville, the last daughter of Marshal Davout.
