A festival of joy and good humour, the Charivari is a festive day organised every year on the 1st Saturday in July by Auxerre's community, cultural and institutional players, coordinated by the reception and entertainment areas. Amateur and professional shows (music, theatre, performing arts, visual arts, dance) put on by local residents and outside companies.
